HOW DO WE GET STARTED?

Contact me to schedule a free initial 15 minute consult to talk about your therapy goals, ask any questions you have for me, our schedules, and help us both determine if we'll be a good fit to get started. During your/your child's first intake appointment, we can talk more thoroughly about your needs, goals, and history to help establish treatment goals together.

DO YOU OFFER IN PERSON OR VIRTUAL SESSIONS?
In addition to building a person-centered, strengths basedconnection with clients, I have training and believe in practicing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as applicable in therapy.

person-centered, strengths-based and trauma informed approaches to develop strong therapeutic relationships. She enjoys using mindfulness, art, play, and creativity as part of the therapeutic process. Lindsay is dedicated to providing support and opportunities to youth and their families in order to foster healthy social-emotional development, empowerment, and healing.

For all other insurance carriers, I am an out of network provider. 50 minute sessions are $170, and I can provide a "superbill" for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I advise that you verify with your insurance company what your reimbursement rates/benefits are for out of network care.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Therapy sessions are offered either onsite in Northbrook or by telehealth. If you're uncertain what the best fit is for you, together we can determine that based on both of our schedules and clinical effectiveness.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Kindset Counseling requires 24 hour notice for all cancellations. I of course understand life happens and things come up, so you will be offered one late cancellation or no-show at no charge. A second late cancel/no show will result in a $50 fee, and any subsequent late cancels/no shows will result in a full session charge ($170).
